Intersectionality Activity

Work and school holidays line up with my own religious celebrations.

I see my culture and my ancestors reflected in my learning at school

I always assumed I would go to college or university

I can show affection to my romantic partner in public without fear of ridicule or violence.

I hear jokes about aspects of my identity and often feel uncomfortable/unsafe addressing the situation.

English is my first language

I sometimes feel unsafe walking alone at night

I have Canadian citizenship

I primarily rely on public transportation

One or both of my parents/caregivers has post-secondary education.

I would not hesitate to call the police in an emergency.

I have a visible or invisible disability.

I have tried to change my appearance, mannerisms, or behaviour to avoid being judged or ridiculed

My family left our homeland or entered a different country, not of our own free will

My parents/caregivers are often too busy to spend time with me
