Are You Patriotic?

I am glad that many people around the world think of the US as a "land of opportunity"

I take pride in the fact that the US is the most advanced country in the world

It is important to have a strong national defense

I would rather live in the US than in any other country.

Playing the national anthem before baseball games and other professional sports events is a good idea

I would be willing to fight for my country if called upon during a war

I would describe myself as being a patriotic American

Students should say the Pledge of Allegiance each day at school

The Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution are documents that we should be proud of

The people of our country are of different races and religions but are united by the fact that we are all American

The type of government in the US today (a democracy) is the best form of government

Spies and traitors whose actions threaten the security of the US should be executed or imprisoned for life

Protestors should not be allowed to burn the American flag

It is nice to know that the US, and not the Soviet Union, was the first country to send astronauts to the moon

I would enjoy visiting famous historical sites and monuments honoring America's past

If I were watching the Olympics or World Cup, I would very much want the American Athletes to win

It is appropriate to name holidays, schools, roadways, buildings, and towns after national heroes.

I would rather read about famous people American history than about famous people from world history.
