Why would you want to design an object as a “black box”?

Hide internal implementation details→we can change later

What is usually a good approach when defining object methods?

Break obj's behavior↓ n2 smaller, easier understood sub-func

From where can “public” and “private” data be accessed?

Pub-acc by any obj Priv-acc from w/in meth belonging 2 obj

Inheritance allows similar obj 2 share com details/traits.

What need resulted in the creation of the “Simula 67” programming language?

The need to model complex ships that shared common traits

How would you apply object-oriented concepts to simplify a complex system?

Break sys ↓ to tiny & tinier parts→they are all understood
