Geology #3

Igneous rock layer formed from magma that cools beneath Earth's surface

Geologic events occur suddenly are known as what?

When lava hardens on the surface

Relationship where one organism benefits, while the other is unaffected

Variety of Living Organisms in an Ecosystem

Current era that included events of humans entering the geologic timescale

First and lengthiest era that included bacteria emerging

Era that included an abundance of life emerging called the Cambrian Explosion

Insects, plants and reptiles all emerged in what era?

If a rock initially contained 10g of radioactive material, how much remains after 2 half-lives?

The time it takes for half of the radioactive substance to decay into a stable substance

Using unstable material to find the exact date of origin is all of the following EXCEPT

Law that states oldest rock layer is on the bottom
