Motor Control Exam 1 BUT QUIZ SCREWED ME OVER

What items make up the individual element of movement

Select all that are true regarding Hierachical Theory

Schema Theory: Learning a new motor program through generalized set of rules that can apply to many contexts

Systems three stage model: isolate degrees of freedom of the body to enhance movement quality

Non-declarative is reflexive and habitual. Declarative is consciously recalled.

Clinically speaking, the learning phase allows for carryover skills to the next session

Bobath, PNF, brunnstrum focus onretraining normal isolated patterns to restore function aka neurotheraputic facilitation

Select all that are true regarding the reflex theory

Declarative learning uses facts and events to sequence a task together

Select all that are true regarding dynamic stystems theroy

Select the terms that are accuratley defined

Select all that apply to classical conditioning

Where are facts and events (declarative/explicit learning) stored in the brain

Ecological therory states....

Where is non-associative learning stored (habituation and sensitization) in the brain

Where are procedural skills and habits stored in the brain

Select the correct applications of schema theory

Where are the components of associative learning stored in the brain

Select all that are true about the performance phase during motor learning

3 stages of fitts and posner model for learning

Hierarchical Theory now recognizes that reflexes are NOT considered the driving force to movement

Select the variables used to form motor patterns according to Schema Theory. (basically how we program AI & robots)

Select all that apply to the non-associative stage of non-declarative learning

Select all that are true regarding motor programming theory

A deep attractor well represents a significantly fixed motor pattern

Select the pratice and feedback types that are assocaited with learning

Select the true statements about schema theory

There is carryover in the performance phase of motor learning

Select all that true regarding systems theory

When tasks have similar characteristics you can apply the same training philosophies. This could be viewed as carryover

Select the terms that are accuratley defined

Hypothesis-oriented, impairment-based treatment approach based in the concepts of Dynamic Systems Theory

Movement is influenced by what elements?

A task characteristics includes which of the follwing

Declarative (explicit) learning can progresses to non-declarative (implicit) learning with practice and repetition

Nondeclarative (implicit) learning includes what 3 stages

A performer must conform to these to be successful. For example, driving a car through a blizzard

An open environment has what effect on the participant?
