News Broadcasting Objective 1-5

fills in the shadows from the key light. USUALLY DIFFUSED

the space in front of a subject on camera

When indoor lighting is blue, and outdoor lighting is orange you should adjust this:

This is a mic attachment, used to lessen sounds of sudden bursts of air

The most important thing with greenscreen is an evenly lit background

This type of mic attaches to talent

This is a meeting where the producer plans everything that needs to be done for the show

camera tilts up and down, but doesn't move

Lighter non-traditional journalism focused more on entertainment

This type of mic is held by the talent

Used to produce a soft light

this is the absolute minimum for slow motion

Talent is the person who appears on the camera

This part of the camera determines how much light passes through the lens

This mic is held over the talent, shouldn't be in the shot

Camera does move, and gets closer to the talent

The VU Meter shows how loud the audio is

Main light, most important, brightest, harshest shadows

News focused more on events that are timely or consequential. Like War

Chromakeys are USUALLY bright green or bright blue

Camera tilts left and right, but doesn't move

Separates the subject from the background

Camera doesn't move, but gets closer to the talent

You CANNOT test audio levels in camera by the vu meter or using headphones to monitor audio
