Many scientists believe that the large moving plates of the earth's crust are supported by geologic columns.

There are no observable patterns in our solar system.

Which of the following features that exist today do secular scientists believe formed first?

Tectonic plates ____________________.

According to the diluvial geologic time scale, the lowest stratum of the geologic column would represent ___________.

Most secular geologists agree that the earth formed when matter from the new sun was flung out into orbit around it.

Young-earth geologists say, order of fossils in record is due to ability of organisms to flee rising waters during Flood

Formation of planetesimals describes which story?

Which of the following has been used to hypothesize which continents were at one time joined?

Runaway subduction is a feature of John Baumgardner's catastrophic plate tectonics theory.

Which of the following was created first in the young-earth story?

According to the nebular hypothesis, all planets began as planetesimals.

According to most secular geologists, which of the following was caused by a collision?

Sea-floor spreading is thought to be driven by the movement of ___________.

Which of the following events came last in the old-earth story?

An ice age with lots of extra snowfall would require that oceans (main source of water vapor) be much ______ than normal

This we know for certain: no human was present to view the earth's ______________.

The _________ has been developed by secular scientists to describe how our solar system came into existence.

A diluvial geologic time scale describes which story?

According to a young-earth view, during which period would you expect to find the greatest number and variety of fossils

Which of the following observations of the solar system give(s) us clues about its history?

We know for sure it took Atlantic Ocean 180 million years to form, according to present-day motion of tectonic plates.

What would an old-earth geologist use to help explain a fossil graveyard?

According to young-earth geologists, the order of fossils in the fossil record reflects the ability of organisms to ____
