At last the vesicles transport the vesicles to the required destination. One thing they impact?

Vesicles (with lipids) fuse with membrane = cell size grows

Bonus Q1 - The cell membrane functions as all but?

Serves as a transportation method

Once the proteins have been sent to the Golgi apparatus it does what?

Checks, modifies, prepare for transportation and packages.

After the production of proteins, they USUALLY travel to where.

To the SER (usually interconnected) .

How does the rough ER manufacture proteins?

Answers

1
At last the vesicles transport the vesicles to the required destination. One thing they impact?
Vesicles (with proteins) go to the cell vacuole for storage
Remove waste
Help with communication
Vesicles (with lipids) fuse with membrane = cell size grows
2
Bonus Q1 - The cell membrane functions as all but?
Serves as the base attachment for the cytoskeleton for some
Protect integrity of the interior cell
Balances endocytosis and exoctosis (for cell growth)
Serves as a transportation method
3
The smooth ER has a wide range of functions that excludes...?
Serves as a transitional area for vesicles
Lipid sythesis
Construction of vesicles
Production of enxymes
4
Once the proteins have been sent to the Golgi apparatus it does what?
Transports the proteins to areas needed.
Encase the proteins, and destroys unwanted proteins.
Checks, modifies, prepare for transportation and packages.
Send the proteins back to the ER to go under 2nd checkpoint
5
Bonus fact- There're multiple types of vesicles , we use which one? (On current topic)
Lysosomes/cellular vesicles
Secretory vesicles
Transport vesicles
Regulation vesicles (vacuole)
6
The membrane is a selective barrier also known as?
Selective membrane
Selectively permeable
Semi access
Semi permeable
7
In some cases certain proteins are directly shipped where in special vesicles?
Cell membrane
Smooth ER
Golgi Apparatus
Rough ER
8
After the Golgi packages the proteins into vesicles, they're usually shipped to all places but?
Outside of the cell
To organelles within the cell.
The nucleus
Plasma membrane
9
A cells membrane does all of these things but...
Chooses what is let into the cell and what leaves.
Defines borders of the cell.
Controls the cells activities.
Must be able to communicate with other cells.(identify+info)
10
After the production of proteins, they USUALLY travel to where.
To the cell membrane to be transported out.
Directly to the Golgi Apparatus
To the SER (usually interconnected) .
Are put in vesicles for transport around the cell.
11
How does the rough ER manufacture proteins?
The smooth ER sends parts of the proteins to be put together
The nucleus sends ribosomes to attach and create proteins.
Ribosomes attach to the RER, make proteins through interlate
Ribosomes attached synthesize proteins through translation.
12
Bonus Q2 - What is responsible for the Golgi apparatus unique shape?
The cis face of the Golgi collapses onto the trans face
The fact that it is polar and makes odd connections
The sacs are compressed by the cytoplasm and fold/bend.
Protein interactions
