Growth Mindset 4-5

"This is new. It is OK if I do not know it yet."

"This lesson is dumb. I will never use this stuff in my life."

"My teacher always gives me corrections on writing. She must think I am dumb."

"Max is so good at baksetball. I will never be that good."

When I am open to new things, even though they might be hard, challanging, or scary at first I can always try it.

When I do not want try to get better or do not accept feedback on how I can be better I have a fixed mindset.

"Wow Betty rocked it during the spelling bee today. I am happy for her!"

"Reading the announcements make me nevous. But I am going to try it."
