PL Design Principles I

Efficiency of the translator is related to reliability of the programming language

The ability to define new data types is considered __________

Orthogonal features are strongly dependent

Consistency of appearance and behavior define __________

C++ maintains uniformity in the way you define functions and classes.

•Expressiveness can conflict with simplicity, and hence conflict with readability also.

Regularity is better defined by dividing it into more definite concepts such as____________

•Overly simple programming languages can make the task of using them more complex.
