Uses and Gratifications Theory

The VOX POPS used on BBC Radio 1 are always of people my age. This is why I like the show.

I like to sit down and put my feet up and read the Swindon Advertiser on a Sunday.

Me and my mum chat about what we've heard during Heart FM's news.

I read the Guardian as it has stories written by people with the same political views as me.

I listen to 5 Live News so that I can find out the transfer information for my football team

I read the Daily Mail because it has articles about fashion. I read it with a cuppa!

I listen to Radio 1 Newsbeat to find out about celebrity gossip.

I listen to BBC Radio 2 news so that I can talk to my friends about current affairs (news)

I read the Sun because it has stories about people who do the same job as me.

I listening to MKFM news because it always has stories about local people and local events.
