I didn’t have to move frequently or switch schools often due to unstable housing or finances.

I lived in a neighborhood where most people had access to healthcare and stable jobs.

My family could afford college application fees and testing costs.

I went to a school where most students went on to college.

 I didn’t have to share a single device with multiple family members during remote learning. 

My community had a public library or community center I could use for studying.

I had reliable internet access and a working computer at home.

I had access to SAT/ACT prep through my school or a free community program. 

There was a college counselor available to help me apply to college.

I didn’t need to work a part-time job during high school to support my family. 

I had a quiet place at home where I could study without interruptions. 

My family could afford to take unpaid time off for school-related events

I was not expected to miss school to care for family members. 

My school had after-school tutoring or academic support services.

My high school graduation rate was over 80%.

 I had teachers who stayed through the entire school year.
