Secret Garden Ch. 16/17 Questions

She asked Mary to come to Colin's room when he was having a tantrum.

This is what the nurse called the tantrum Colin had in the night.

Colin threatened to have her sent away.

She told Colin everyone should run out of the house and let him scream himself to death.

She told Colin he would live to grow up if he controlled his temper and spent a lot of time in the fresh air.

He noticed that working in the garden was making Mary stronger.

She told Colin he was not going to die

She thought someone should beat Colin when he was hysterical.

He wanted to go to the secret garden with Dickon and Mary

She knew Colin would be upset because Mary did not come to his room.

Mary and Colin accused each other of being this

Just before she went to sleep, Mary decided she would do this as soon as she had worked with Dickon in the garden.

His back started to show its crookedness as a child when a lump began growing on his spine.

Mary ran to Colin's room planning to tell him about these.

She did not know that Colin imagined he had a lump on his back.

Everyone, including Mary, felt this way when Colin had a tantrum.

Instead of going to Colin's room, Mary spent time with him in the garden.

Before he went to sleep, Colin asked Mary to tell him how she imagined this looked inside.

He sent Mary a gift of books, games, and a little writing case.

He sat on Dickon's shoulder and tweaked his ear with his beak.

Colin did not realize that this was what caused him to have tantrums.

Colin became hysterical because he thought he felt one of these on his back.

The nurse was pleased when Mary did this.

She laughed at the argument between Colin and Mary.

He threw a pillow at Mary and ordered her out of his room.
