Mod 4 and 5 - Emerging Technologies

Takes knowledge from one domain, transfers to other domain

surpass human intelligence in all aspects — from creativity, to general wisdom, to problem-solving.

Dedicated to assist with or take over specific tasks

Data warehouses store data in a structured format.

Data mining process where where multiple data sources may be combined

the process of discovering interesting patterns and knowledge from large amounts of data.

Datasets are all the same that you can do descriptive and predictive mining on all of them effectively.

A time where machines have their own consciousness. A stage of superintelligence might be possible.

Data mining can only be applied to structured data.

a structured collection of data that is organized and stored in a way that allows for efficient access of data.

a process of identifying data that are significantly different from the other data in a dataset.

Refers to information that is recorded as a result of a business transaction or event.

a data point that is significantly different from the other data points in a dataset

visualization and knowledge representation techniques are used to present mined knowledge to users

a large, centralized repository that stores data from various sources and makes it available for analysis

What Fuels AI Today?

Removing outliers is always the best approach for handling them in a dataset.

a collection of observations that are organized into a structured format for analysis and interpretation.

successfully perform any intellectual task that a human being can

Outliers can have a significant impact on statistical analyses and machine learning algorithms.

Data mining turns large collection into knowledge

a branch of CS that concerns with building “intelligent” smart machines capable of performing intelligent tasks.

identifies the truly interesting patterns representing knowledge based on interestingness measures

AI is used in Health Care Industry

Machines that are an order of magnitude smarter than humans

accomplishes specific tasks. All Artificial Intelligences today are Narrow.

AI which focus mainly on emotional intelligence so that human believes and thoughts can be better comprehended.

Big Data refers to data that is too large to be processed by traditional data processing tools.

a single observation or measurement in a dataset.

Data mining process that remove noise and inconsistent data

is the process by which a computer is able to perform a specific task without using explicit instructions.

AI Always provide correct answer

Outliers are always the result of data entry errors.

Data are transformed and consolidated into forms appropriate for mining by performing summary or aggregation operations

Data mining category which are characterize properties of the data in a target data set

AI is capable of detecting Spams and Fraudulents

The Science and Engineering of making Intelligent Machines

AI is capable of answering any question

AI machines that operate solely based on the present data, taking into account only the current situation.

refers to a set of items that often appear together in a transactional data set

AI that can make informed and improved decisions by studying the past data from its memory.

An essential process where intelligent methods are applied to extract data patterns

Data mining category which perform induction on the current data in order to identify future values

The process of discovering hidden patterns and information from large datasets by using computational methods.

Data mining process where data relevant to the analysis task are retrieved from the database

a statistical methodology that is most often used for numeric prediction

the process of finding a model (or function) that describes and distinguishes data classes or concepts

is intellectual potential; something that can be measured, and a capacity that is difficult to change
