ACT Prep

When evaluating a problem, you should never look at the answers and work backwards.

You should practice taking an ACT test in the allotted time with the correct calculator. 

You can use your TI-Nspire CAS Calculator on the ACT.

The Math test contains topics:  Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus.  

When taking the math test, you should start at number 60 and work backwards through the test.  

The ACT will provide formulas for perimeter, area, distance, slope, and midpoint on the test. 

You should stay up late the night before the ACT studying.  

The ACT will provide formulas such as the Law of Sines, Law of Cosines, and Volume formulas.  

When looking at diagrams on the test, the diagrams are usually drawn to scale.

When taking the test, you should rush through the first 30 problems since they are the easiest.
