Plot Elements (or Story Elements)

What is the plot of a story?

The "Introduction" to a story is also known as:

This is the entire, organized sequence of events, in order, that makes up a story.

This is the highest point of the story. There is no turning back.

This is where most of the story takes place. It's where the conflict is developed further.

Where is the mood created in the story?

This part is where we see the results of the major change, bringing the story closer to the end

Here, the conflict (or problem) is resolved OR is determined unsolvable.

During this part of the plot, the reader learns about the characters and setting.

This is the correct order of plot elements (also known as story elements).
