Equations/ Inequalities

Equality Symbol- the relationship between equal quantities, as expressed in an equation

Distribute- to disperse through a space or over an area; spread; scatter.

Function- relationship between two sets that matches each member of the first set with a unique member of the second set

Constant- not changing or varying; uniform; regular; invariable:

Combine like- to bring into or join in a close union or whole; unite

Inverse operations- pairs of mathematical manipulations in which one operation undoes the action of the other

Operations- a process or action performed in a specified sequence and in accordance with specific rules

Coefficient- A number or symbol multiplied with a variable or an unknown quantity in an algebraic term

Inequality Symbols- a statement that two quantities are unequal

Variable-  having the nature or characteristics of a variable.

Term- each of the members of which an expression as one of two or more parts of an algebraic expression

Linear Equation- An algebraic equation in which the variables are of the first degree
