Grammar and Story Elements Mid-Unit Review

The names of countries, states, and cities are sometimes capitalized.

Pronouns take the place of one or more nouns or groups of words in a sentence.  

The names of holidays are never capitalized.

Many adverbs end in "ly"

Christopher is a common noun.

Never put commas inside quotation marks.

Initials used in names and abbreviations of well known organizations are capitalized.

Quotation marks are not used when someone is speaking.
